Kitty's Big Adventure - The City!
Last weekend my husband and our 2 dogs rented a mini van to go pick up a piece of a bowling ally at a warehouse in Brooklyn. Yes, we live in Ohio...yes, we are insane. We're going to refinish the piece, give it some legs and use it as a desk in the studio!!! The trip was a bit of a whirlwind: 18 hours in the car, $100 in tolls, $50 in salty and sweet treats, and 1 crabby parking attendant who tried to charge us $50 to park for 1 hour (welcome to NYC!). We were pretty busy navigating, so we didn't get any shots of our own when we drove into the city at night, but the photo above by Linda and Alan is pretty amazing and captured the essence of it better than we could have! On the left is our NYC Special Collection Art Print. Our traveling kitty is on top of a building, just below the arrow sign - yes that was intentional! It looks like he's enjoying the city at night, with everything lit up and the bustle of the traffic at street level.
